Faldr bit down on his lip to keep from screaming. He was determined that whatever happened, he was not giving this twisted traitor to Cathedral another moment's satisfaction from him. "So you don't care for your victims to talk? Sorry, too bad, I'm afraid I get bored if the conversation's too one sided." He had to bite down again as the last of his ribs snapped painfully and she started on his fingers. His lip was now bleeding profusely.

((zero for both of mine still
do we want to leave it be or actually change it so dudeface that Maya is going after has a score so she can actually fight him?
if so I think we should just decrease Joka's total bonus by 1 and have him be whatever she rolled))

The ground rumbled underneath his feet and he struggled to keep his balance stumbling a bit. When it passed he regained his firm footing and rushed at her striking out with the improvised staff. During the small earthquake the hood had fallen off revealing a dark skinned man with a shaved head. There were earrings all along the cartilage of his ears and tribal markings were tattooed on his face. His eyes were a brilliant blue.
"She enjoys broken play things she just likes to be the one to break them. Just following orders sugar." His tone implied he could care less what happened. A job was a job he would just prefer that Joka not lose her demented little temper at him.
"You cathedral puppets are so dull. Talk or don't talk. It wont stop me from breaking you bit by bit." Joka started on his knees and used the metal in him as a way to toss him up in the air and then back down to the ground again.

Maya smirked at him almost losing his balance and dodged out of the way of the staff. When he attacked, she moved in swiftly and slashed at his arm with both daggers at once and then jumped back out of range. "What happens when you are one of those broken playthings honey?" She gave him a sympathetic look as she purred at a lower pitch than could normally be picked up by human hearing. Casting the vibrations through her body again to cause another earthquake for about 15 seconds, then stopped for 15 seconds. She repeated this several times, each time increasing the magnitude and range of it as she danced around the man. She hoped the woman torturing the captain might feel it by now and give him an edge. Prancing in for a hit and then out of range again, she never stopped her movement so that she wasn't an easy target. She jumped forward, aiming for his neck.

Licht felt the ground trembling and knew he should get up. He had to get up. He needed to get up. He could hear the clashing, the sounds but it was as if it was coming from another place. Memories surged up within him. Slowly, he felt himself standing.
Puppet, huh? Faldr felt his wrist crack beneath him upon impact and a second later his skull slammed into the ground. Spots swimming in his vision, he hacked up more blood before he felt his body lifted into the air. He had to do something before he completely blacked out. Both his kneecaps were now dislocated and his hands were completely mangled. He wouldn't be able to grip anything or even stand in this condition. But there was one thing she couldn't shut down.
His core hummed in his shoulder providing its constant reassuring comfort. She wasn't the only one who could play with metal. As she slammed him down again, he caught sight of his sword. As he crashed into the ground, he willed every fiber of his power into it. "Dull? Oh no, I think you'll find I'm quite sharp!" He forced his broken body to look up as he forced the sword flying toward her heart.

"You naughty naughty man we'll have none of that." Using her core she bent the sword in half before it could hit her.
Z fought with his staff but Maya's daggers managed to strike him and he backed up in pain and bleeding. "Ah Boss a little help here!!!!"
"If you insist." This was said with a snarl. Joka lifted the captains body into the air and rotated him before straightening out the sword again. She sent him hurtling through the air and before he reached them she forced metal out of his other arm. Medium sized spikes of metal she forced out of his legs. With the pace he moving and how she manipulated his arms to be stretched out at the side he would land right in the middle between them close enough to be a problem with the weaponry.

Faldr didn't even have time to curse that she was able to block his attack. As she sent him flying forward he felt his flesh ripped apart as she inexpertly bent the metal out of his appendages. At least when he did it himself he minimized the displacement.
He immediately saw his trajectory and realized her aim. "Maya, move!!" He tried to shout a warning even as his blade sliced through her own subordinate.

Maya heard the captain's cry and jumped away from the dark skinned man. She barely dodged the captain slamming into her but the sleeve of her dress caught on the blade and the skin underneath was sliced open shallowly. She hissed at the pain and then grit her teeth, growling at the woman standing behind Faldr. "You bitch!" The torn sleeve hung down loosely over her dagger and would hinder her ability to fight. So she tore off the sleeve and tossed it toward the woman. Using what she hoped was at least a small distraction she send vibrations through her arm, into the dagger, and in a sharpened sonic slash toward her opponent.

Zekran choked on his own blood. Damn boss, be a little more careful with your toys he thought as his eyes began to roll back. As he collapsed he noticed Maya's attack and forced his body to twist, sending out a last static burst to knock the attack off course at least. Sorry boss, that's all I can do. His eyes closed as he crashed to the ground.
The attack rolled sharply to the side and even still a jagged wound opened across her cheek. Joka smiled as she felt the sweet pain tingle through her nerves. She darted her tongue out and licked the oozing red liquid. She had always relished the taste of blood. So sharp and metallic and scintillating. It didn't even matter that it was her own.
"That was good, Zekran." She purred. "I may even have to keep you alive despite failing me so miserably. But you." Her cold eyes were on Maya. "I've had quite enough of you. You've broken far too many of my toys."
Her core pulsed and she dragged the broken swordsman back forward for another sweep. He cried out a warning but it was useless. She already knew the bitch would dodge. Delightedly she warped the metal of both daggers, letting it stretch out where it would pierce her throat. It's what the stupid bitch deserved for being foolish enough to think a metal weapon would help.

"Nooo!!" Faldr called helplessly as he saw what he thought was his last ally standing struck down by this madwoman. Still helpless within her power he could only watch as Maya fell.

And before she should have hit the ground the image vanished. The air wavered and the area was illuminated with a sudden flash; the warped daggers were hanging where they had just been, but Maya lay unharmed several yards away, and standing in front of her, no longer trembling was Licht. He stood his ground protectively in between the woman and Maya and the captain.
He stretched his hands and the air around him shimmered with light. It wasn't much but it would at least obstruct her line of sight to the others. Of course, as long as her magnetic powers were still functioning, she could still sense and control the captain by his metal. There was no choice then, he would have to do it.
He regarded the person in front of him with cold eyes, suddenly without fear.
"ENOUGH."

Joka took full notice of him and tilted her head slightly peering at him intently. "Why hello there. Just who might you be?" It was brave of him to get in her way. Not smart but brave. She waved her hand and paused. "No metal? ....You're not like them are you? Why protect them?
